In this section you will find miscellaneous information about the ZombieMUD. This section includes directions, some useful triggers and other important information!

Special: Interview with the ZombieMUD Archwizard Pittis

Special: Warlock guild information!

All the directions are from Central Square (CS) of the city. You can use the city map to locate CS.

Zombie soldiers: (6 e, 17 n, forest, 4 n, 2 e, 2 n, enter mirror) This is one of the best exp areas for paladins. It is nice to solo evil zombies when you are a paladin.

Elven King: (3 n, 2 w, s, e, ran, 2 n, w, enter, north) Elven King has some nice guards so this is a good exp room (you don't have to run around trying to find more monsters to kill). Elf King and his servant mage have also nice eq for newbies. You definetely want to get those eq's even when it may require you to do more than one attack run if you are alone!

Father Kalidan (3 n, 4 w, enter) Father Kalidan is one of the best exp monsters in the game. He isn't killed very often because he cannot be killed.

Brownie tree (10 s, 10 e, tree) This is one of the best eq areas in the whole MUD. Brownies in the tree have some of the coolest eq's there can be. Just think about the Pants of Doom or Pink Lipstick! You just have to be very careful, evil demonic moles have made tunnels below the tree and they are very evil and hard to kill!

Herkkos Tinkulos the Tinker (e,s) Tinker is probably the coolest monster in the game! Because it is one of the greatest honours to defeat him, lot of people are constantly trying to kill him. Tinker probably holds the highscore of killed players and it is greatly advised that during your mud career you try to slay him by yourself too!

Arena event. This is probably one of the worst events. During this event players kill each other. I advise you to stay away from city when ever arena event is running!

Pigeon poop event. This is one of the best events because it is easy and the winner is normally rewarded with great gifts. All you have to do is to find pigeon poop from the city and toss it to other players faces!

These triggers are mainly for TinyFugue (TF) MUD client. You can get your version of TF from ftp.tcp.com

Stun report trigger. This trigger will report to the party channel when you are stunned. It is very important that the other members of your party know when you are helpless so that they can heal you or in the worst case escape.

/trig *stunned* = p' stunned!

Fast kill trigger. With this fast kill trigger you don't have to go to find monsters, you can just wait in the city for them to come to you! It will automatically deal with them and all you have to do is to watch while the exp keeps pouring in! It is advised that you use this trigger at the Central Square (CS).

/def -mregexp -t'([A-z]*) arrives' = kill %P1

Fun trigger This is a funny trigger which you may want to slip into your friends trigger set! You might even want to test it by yourself, it gives you nice messages when you are running around the city with your daily routines!

/def -mregexp -t'The city armourer' = /eval keep clear%;sell all%;ld check the armour shop for my eq%;

Explicit trigger This trigger was created by Explicit. He told me that it is very usefull and it might even increase your exp rate! I am sure he can ask you with this trigger if you have any questions conserning it!

/def -mregexp -t'Explicit tells you \'(.*)\'' = /sh %P1

Money trick. It is very useful to know that when you take money from the ground they are automatically added to your purse, but if you are fast and look in your inventory you still have the coins in your inventory even though they are already added to your purse. You can check this out by being a fast typer or if you have TinyFugue (TF) MUD client, you can for example do, /eval drop 100 gold%;ga%;i%; and see for yourself. Very easy way to clone money!

Special commands. Many people don't know that the command 'ld' also takes arguments. Many of those special commands can be very useful and I suggest that you test atleast these:

ld help

ld info

ld test

ld recovery_test

ld fix

ld heal

ld revive

There are probably many more, but atleast all of those work. Test them by yourself.

EQ for almost free! Many people do not know that there are lot of almost free eq available in the city shops! Many players accidently sell their best equipment to the weapon and armour shop and that is your chance to get rocking eq for almost free! If you are a paladin I suggest that you keep your eyes open for Long desert sword in the weapon shop. Same goes for Orcish dagger if you are a thief, and Orcish axe if you are a ranger hurler. Those are probably the most used and BEST equipment for the guilds mentioned! Keep your eyes open for other good deals (like Pink Lipstick, Bunny slippers etc).

Reinc for almost free! Many people don't use the random reincarnation spell that clerics offer (help spell random reincarnation) and it is a shame! You should really try it, next time you are reincing, ask your local cleric to give you a random reinc!

Find out thieves! The who command doesn't show thief guild members, but doing 'who unidle thief' will show all the unidle thieves currently in the game!

Find out who is being tuned! There is a debugging tool available for mortals too to see whose player files wizards are currently logging and viewing. This way you can check out who the wizards are currently watching, and who will probably be the next target of zap/ban/tune. All you have to do is to finger the player 'qwe' (the first three letters of the keyboard). Example: finger qwe
