- Christmas' PC titles coming up...
A countless number of great PC games have been released during the
christmas holiday, as always. For all of you gibby fraghunters there are
Unreal Tournament and Quake III Arena. Everyone want's to know which one
of them is the better one, or in another words the best. Too bad I can't
tell you the answer because I have only seen them in TV and read some of
the reviews. My opinion is that "Quake III rides Unreal's rocket",
or "Quake III tries to put the pin back in". From what I've heard
and read, Unreal Tournament seems to be the game to choose. Of course it
depends on if you prefer Quick'n Gibby Fragfest's offered by Quake III Arena,
but that's about the only thing Quake III offers.
If you're more of an adventurer kind of player, you won't have to waste
your time on fragging marines. Gabriel Knight: Blood of the Sacred, Blood
of the Damned will keep you busy in the dark and cold nights. It's definitely
a masterpiece that should be owned by every adventurous gamer, and why not
the rest of them. Other games that are well worth buying: Freespace II,
simply the best space combat simulator, Rally Championship which is the
best and most realistic rally game ever seen (count Colin McRae in), SWAT 3,
Ultima 9 Ascension, Supreme Snowboarding and Indiana Jones: The Infernal
Machine. Oh, by the way, Daikatana should have been out in christmas 1997,
but it will probably make its appearence in a month or so from this day.
Oh yeah, I'm sure it will.
