Gundog hobby is an essential part of our every
day life. I breed German Wirehaired Pointers under the name
Jasulan and my
spouse Maria breeds Gordon Setters under the name Courtier's. Our sweet little girl Emilia was born in August 2001.
Emilia has shown tremendous interest in dogs at very early age. She
always helps mommy and daddy with the dogs.
We breed litters seldom and plan them thoroughly. Our main goal is
to breed Gundogs that are up to
the breed standard both in looks and in working ability. We are very enthusiastic hobbyist; at fall and winter we spent
as much time as possible
in the fields hunting with our dogs. At summer we attend dog shows
here in Finland and abroad.
JASULAN
I was one of the founders of "Hämeenkankaan eräharrastajat ry",
a hunting club. I bought my first German
Wirehaired Pointer "Tessa" in 1997. She turned out to be an exellent
bird handler and became an unreplaceable companion in the fields.
Her qualities as a Gundog is one of a kind and I wanted her
offspring to continue her work in the future. Her litter was born in
2002.
The association needed pheasant
breeder and I started raising them in 1995. The association provides
experience tourism. I have organized and hosted hunts for them from the
beginning of the association. Today the demand for this kind of
experience is very high, so fall and winter time is busy for me and
Tessa. My main profession is in the transportation business.

I've also organized Field Trial Tests for Gundogs and worked
as an official field trial organizer. This is a great opportunity to meet
other hobbyist across the country.
HISTORY
Hunting has been a hobby for me from the 70's. My first dog
was English Setter "Binja", born in 1982. She was an old-bloodlined
tricolor Setter and created a memorable reputation as a Gundog in
the duck lakes.
