Hoppinghamin
kennelin naapurustossa asusteleva Ukko on kiltti ja hyväntahtoinen
hössö jonka rauhallista puolta vieraat harvoin
näkevät. Kasvattajan luona kyläillessä
Ukolta löytyy turbo-nappi joka pysyy pohjassa koko
vierailun ajan. Näyttelyistä Ukolle on kertynyt
kotimaisia sertejä ja yksi cacib. Ukon Iirin kielinen
nimi "isäänsä parempi" enteilee
näyttelymenestyksestä. Ukko pitää
laulamisesta, laulukärpäsen pistäessä
tuo Ukko soittimen (vinkulelun) isäntäväelle
ja pyytää säestystä kohta alkavalle
lauluesitykselle. Tenoria laulava Ukko tempaa usein tahteineen
mukaan myös bassoäänisen Klaaran.

Ukko
lives in the Hoppinghams’ neighbourhood. He's a
nice, good-willing lad who's tranquille side isn't often
shown to anyone else but his family. His "turbo-button"
goes on whenever it's time to visit somebody else's house,
especially his breeder's. He just loves new places and
people. Ukko has been pretty successful in dog shows:
so far he's got five Finnish CACs and one CACIB. Ukko's
official name in gaelic means "surpassing his father"
and we hope that'll predict him success in forthcoming
shows - his dad being an international champion. One of
Ukko's favourite things to do is singing! Every time he
thinks it's time for an aria he brings a squeaking toy
to his family members, and sings (well, howls) as the
toy goes on squeaking. He's got a "beautiful"
tenor voice and is often joined by the family's other
stafford, little Klaara-girl, who's got a really low bass
voice!
