===== Description =====

This is a modification of the Maxthon StartPage included with Maxthon 1.5.0. 
This version has support for RSS feeds, Weather forecast, other search engines and a lot of other improvements.

The major changes are:

- Added weather forecast
- You can add up to 10 RSS/ATOM feeds to the page.
- Default search is now Google
- Image search is now Google image search
- Added Tarapages.com search, Maxthon Forum search, Google News search, Maxthon skin search
- Added new style sheets
- You can drag & drop the items, so you can create your own layout (if you use the plugin "MaxthonStartPage")
- You can easily change all settings with the plugin "MaxthonStartPage"


IMPORTANT NOTE:

The Floating Ad Blocker or the "Disable Page Annoyances" plugin can brake the Drag & Drop feature!



===== How to install this modification =====

1)  Extract the zip-file in your Maxthon language folder. In most cases that would be "C:\Program Files\Maxthon\Language\English"
	(If your Maxthon language is English and you have installed Maxthon in the default location).

2)  Make sure that your Maxthon homepage is set to 'default', that is "$lan_folder\start.htm". 
	You can change this in Options >> Maxthon Options >> Start Page

This StartPage is for Maxthon 1.5.0 and higher only.

If you like to easily change all settings you need the MaxthonStartPage plugin.

		(just click on the plugin-button to activate the drag & drop and the configuration)
- Made the script more robust, problems with the configuration should not brake the plugin anymore
- Fixed settings.js corruption problem because of non-ascii characters
- (Hopefully) fixed problem when Maxthon's default language is not English
