Would you like to see beautiful cats and kittens on
your screen whenever you are not doing anything with your computer?
While some screensavers come with your Windows, none of them have
pictures of Turkish Angoras or Turkish Vans!
But now you can change that situation ...
[Note: VANGORA 2001 Screensaver has 28 screens, or photos]
Installation:
After downloading, Start - Run >>
(disk:\directory\) Vss2001a.exe (NOTE: Disk and directory depends on where you downloaded
.exe file)
Proceed with installation by pressing
Start
Answer Yes when asked "Do
you want to install this screen saver?"
After the files have been automatically
copied to the Windows-directory, you will get note:
"Installation successful. The new screen saver has been
activated." Press OK
You can change settings for Vangora
Screensaver [turn off music, randomize screens, etc.] as with any other screensaver.
Please refer to Windows helpfiles and/or manuals for details of how to do this.
Windows 3.xx note: After installation, take a look at "Main"-group - Control Panel - Desktop - Screensavers
and select from list "Vss2001a", if nothing
is selected. For some reason, installation does not always succeed
to activate Vangora Screensaver.
If you have a problem with the EXE-file, try downloading ZIP-file from our
USA-mirror
Distribution:
This screensaver is Freeware, For
Non-Commercial Distribution Only, so you can give it to your
friends and even distribute it on a CD, as long as you do
not charge any cost for it!
With CD distribution you should:
use label, include readme.txt-file (you can add info of your organisation
to the end of file) and translation of that file into your
own language
send a copy of CD to:
Heikki Laitala
Vanha Asemantie 98
FIN-41940 VESANKA
FINLAND
of course, you have to rename Vss2001a.exeto Setup.exe
The previous Vangora Screen Saver, released in 1998, is available for download from our USA-mirror site.
Ingrid Solem
for revision of English
version and creating the Screensaver of course!
And a very special thank
you to all of the members and friends of Vangora who contributed
photographs of their Turkish Angoras and Turkish Vans for this
project.
